5 out of 5 stars Breadman TR2500BC   June 26, 2008

I just received my new Breadman Ultimate. I bought it because of the new convection feature and the light. I have owned and used a Breadman bread machine for years. I started with the upright loaf and then "upgraded" to the horizontal loaf as soon as they came out. Previous to this, I owned the "top of the line" white model and have baked literally hundreds of loaves with that. I have never regretted any of my Breadman machines. I just read the rating below about the "fire hazard" and am a little concerned now. I received this afternoon and couldn't wait to make a loaf of my own Oatmeal White and now have a Rye in the oven. The first was perfect. It does seem the loaf is just a little shorter than my previous Breadman/loaf pan. I like the light as my breadmaker sits on the counter under my cupboards where it is rather dark. With my previous model I would need to pull the machine out so I could see inside to see "what's going on." So far I love the machine as I did my last one. I SAY, MAKE BREAD FOR ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS, NOW AND FOREVER!!!!!!!!

5 out of 5 stars Will buy another if this one ever stops working!   June 22, 2008

I have used this bread machine for 2 years and it is my primary means of bread for my family. Golden flax bread is our favorite!
Be sure to measure the ingredients exactly and the temperatures of the ingredients are at room temperature and your bread will come out perfect each time.

5 out of 5 stars I love my Breadman!   June 9, 2008

1 out of 5 stars Breadman TR2500BC Breadmaker   April 24, 2008
The machine I purchased malfunctioned each time it was used, except when making jam. Bread pan became disengaged from mechanism that controls mixing and kneading processes, thereby ceasing all kneading functions. I returned this items for a refund.

1 out of 5 stars Pan pops out during kneading   April 20, 2008
This bread machine was my big special Christmas present. I live in a dorm room on the other side of the country and Mom thought it would be nice for me to have real fresh bread. It was great... for the first 10 loaves. It turns on in the morning, and makes bread before I get up. It made fantastic bread, too. Then the pan started coming out of the brackets and popping up during kneading. The moving parts at the bottom that stir the dough went CRASHING into one another at different speeds - causing terrible noises and, I am sure, damage to the inside of the machine. Thank God I was right there when it happened, or I don't know WHAT would have happened. I have nightmare visions of the dorm burning down. The company gives you suggestions to fix the problem, which don't work. The machine was my Christmas present so I don't have the sales receipt. I am so sad, now. My week is ruined. So is my bread machine! And my Christmas was wasted on a big expensive machine that doesn't work AND tried to kill me.
