Useful. July 3, 2008 Really helpful for car reading as it gets darker as it doesn't disturb the driver at all.
LightWedge Original Book Light June 27, 2008 I purchased the LightWedge for my wife. She took it with her on her deployment to Iraq and she loves it. It provides her the right amount of light to look at her book.
Illuminates enitre page! June 22, 2008 Large surface area: I do not need to move it around the page like the other spot-light type book lights I have used in the past. Scratches easily when not stored in the protective case, I highly recommend purchasing one. Fits well in my hands while reading, acts like it is part of the book.
disappointed in the lightwedge May 31, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
After wanting one for quite some time, I finally purchased a Lightwedge Original today. Put new batteries in it, put it over a book, turned it on, and found myself thinking, "Is that it?" The light was much weaker than I expected. It was okay in a completely dark room. But if you just want to be able to add light to your book in a room with other lights on without sitting directly under a table lamp it wouldn't help much. For the amount of money I paid for it, it ought to work better. I will be returning it to the store I purchased it from tomorrow. If you are looking to buy a booklight to be used in a room where your spouse/roomate is sleeping nearby, then this product would probably serve your needs. I guess I'm just not the target user.
LightWedge May 29, 2008 Want to read in bed, but doing so disturbs your bedpartner? This light is great! Lighting the page, but not the room. My Mom is 87, and has Macular Degeneration. It helps her read during the daylight. When I saw it, I tried it with the lights off, no more dopey little clip on lights. This is a winner!
