Bran Buds is GREAT February 7, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Kellogg's All-Bran Bran Buds, 17.7-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 4) I had a colon resection about 2 years ago after struggling with Diverticulitis and all of the symptoms for years. After the surgery, I still found that I had to take Metamucil every morning and also eat the Bran Buds too. I sweeten the Buds with Sugar Free Coffee Mate Hazelnut creamer and it is really good. I just love it even though I have to eat it every day. Along with the Metamucil, they have solved my life long problem of constipation. I am so happy there is a product such as Bran Buds and I will never do without. They are GREAT! I order by the case from Amazon.
Bran Buds-now at your doorstep January 13, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
When I was on my healthy kick a few years back, I mixed 1/4 cup with a serving of yogurt. I loved it but it is so hard to find in stores.
It does what it's supposed to. January 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My husband and I have eaten this cereal for years because we can't stand the straw like texture of regular All Bran. We mix 1/3 cup with a variety of other healthy cereals that we get at our local whole foods store. It does what a bran cereal is supposed to do. I was frustrated when I couldn't find it in our local stores anymore and had to call the company to find out how to get it on Amazon. Now I buy a case at a time. I even packed a sack of it when we went off to New Zealand this year. We mixed it with some of their cereals as well. It's not too bad all by itself also. It's effective, maintains it's crunch, and I even add it to some non-fat cookies I bake. Hope you enjoy it too.
Way too expensive November 12, 2007 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
Regardless of how this tastes (I like it), why would anyone pay these prices plus shipping when it is much cheaper at a local store like Shoppers Food Warehouse?
A healthy alternative in the morning... November 12, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
...or a snack any time of day. This cereal is better tasting than any of Kellogg's other bran cereals. I mix it with some other cereal like quaker oat squares or honey bunches of oats and its good,(also with some fruit). And you can't beat the fiber-13 gr. in 1/3 cup. It will improve your health!
