Excellent TV Highly Recommend November 4, 2008 LG 52LG70 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV Best deal and worth every penny! The Sony's and Samsung's were priced $500 to $1500 more and the clarity of the picture didn't even compare to the picture on this TV. The set up was easy and we have not had any problems with the settings as the previous reviewer had written.
Brand New and lovin it November 3, 2008 I was really looking into a Plasma because of video games we had plan to play with our new HD TV. Was talked into this LCD TV (52 inch instead of the 50 inch) for only a couple hundred dollars more than the plasma. With the 120hz it looks great. Speakers soung good too. Been playing with the settings, and I haven't read the instruction book yet, so need to do that, but noticed that the T.V. does not keep settings, they revert back to basic, so am giving it only 4 stars until I can read up on it. Same with the speakers, and a lot may have to do with what I've learned/know about setting up my own theater system, but some applications work through the T.V. and others do not, even though I have a HDMI cable hooked up to the T.V. (had to hook sound up to my surround sound system directly as well). Will up date review later if I find out it's me and not the T.V. :)
Looks good to me October 8, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Looks as good as the Samsungs and Sonys that were $1500 more when I was looking. At home it is better than any TV I have seen at home (I don't base much on what I can see in the show room, too much that you can't know about how it has been set up, e.g., are the cheaper models made to look worse than the more expensive ones so the store can sell the latter).
Good tv for the money October 5, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really like this tv. It may not be the absolute best tv on the market but then you are paying a lot more too. I think this TV is a great value for the money. Picture is great.
