Good Phones for a Great Price November 17, 2008 I have been using these phones now for a few months and I could'nt be happier with them. The sound coming out of the ear piece is loud and clear. Speaker phone is crisp sounding, the person on the other end will never know you have them on speaker. The phones are easy to use, functions are simple, the appearence is sleek. The answering machine function is simple to use even for the electronic challenged person. Some minor issues that I have a problem with is with the idividual bases for the other three phones. They do not have a handset finder button. If you are looking for a phone you will need to go to the answering machine base to press the locator button. Then go around the rest of your home finding the phone you are missing. Not so easy with teenagers in the house.
Simple and not for use with headsets October 10, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was looking for a phone that I can use for phone meetings from home with a headset that would last at least several hours. This model fills that bill but the sound, especially with a headset is sub-par. Ever since I got it people have been complaining that they can hardly hear me and they also hear a buzzing when I'm using a headset (and I've tried several.) With my older Vtech it wasn't a problem.
Everything is as advertised - very solid product October 1, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am very pleased with all aspects of the phone system. It does everything the manufacturer claims it will do...which is refreshing. Clarity is very good...handsets have lots of features...very lightweight...no complaints. Only drawback...they are made in China...so I'm not sure how long they will last. The lowest cost manufacturing is never the best. Remember when phones lasted decades?
Great System September 3, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Have only had these for a week; but, love them. They were so easy to set up and everything is very intuitive. Reception is so clear and loud. Not a single complaint.
Love the phone overall, only a couple of small nitpicks August 27, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
We ordered this phone system mainly for its intercom capability. My mom lives with us, and having this phone gives me great peace of mind because I know she can alert me wherever I am in the house. We have handsets in the office, kitchen, bedroom, and in her room. If I'm doing something out of earshot or playing music, she can intercom me rather than trying to yell to get my attention. Also, we can easily transfer calls to one another.
My only small complaints are: 1) the ringer volume button is on the side, right where I normally grasp the phone, so I'm always changing the volume accidentally, and 2) it lists all calls as "missed calls" and I have to go in and delete them manually or the display always shows missed calls. However, I'm willing to admit it's possible there's a setting that I've missed that I could change.
The directory is easy to store numbers in and retrieve when dialing. I like the ease of playing and deleting messages from the answering system as well.
All in all, we are very happy with our purchase!
