ExcellentJuly 29, 2008 I bought this in pink and while it looks nice, I'm not sure about the quality. It's heavy and there are a lot of screws. It's not hard to put together, just a little tedious. It's making a funny noises and I'm ont sure if the blades are loose or it's the motor. Right now it's just decoration since I haven't pulled it apart to investigate the noise. Not sure if it was worth it.
Revised: Turns out I put it together wrong which is why it was making funny noises. I didn't get the screw right on the flat part of the rotor. After an adjustment it works perfectly. Still could use some design improvements - the band that holds the two grills in place is tricky - the screw and nut flew across the room while I was trying to take it apart. I would give it 5 stars for appearance and 3.5 stars for assembly/craftmanship. I recommend it.
