Great value November 14, 2008 Great bargain on upgrading your MacBook Pro to the full 4GB RAM permitted. I run virtual machines on my mac and bumping the memory definitely increased the performance.
Works great saved money November 13, 2008 I increased the memory on my macbook pro in order to run VM Fusion faster.
It worked- it was easy. I looked up a video on youtube to show me how.

Macbook White Early 2008 October 31, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Purchased it, got it, installed it, all very simple. I don't notice a speed increase as far as the time it takes to boot and load applications, since the speed of the stock RAM sticks and these ones are similar. Basically, the capacity is much bigger, going from 1GB to 4GB. It doesnt make my mac faster(running Leopard), but rather it doesn't slow down at all when running programs like Office 2008 and Firefox, and VMWare Fusion. I was expecting as much, so I'm not disappointed at all, I mean, Macs run fast anyways. RAM just increases the amount of applications you can run at once.
Bought it, put it in, works great. October 30, 2008 I run a lot of VMs on my MacBook Pro, so I decided it was time to go from 2GB to 4GB. The price on this RAM w/ free shipping was as much as "no-name" RAM plus shipping costs on other sites, so it was an easy choice.
(Edit: Note of course that the price for this item will vary on Amazon, depending on who is fulfilling the order, etc.)
