High Quality Sound September 21, 2008
The C120 Wireless TV Amplifier solved our "dueling" TV problem. The sound quality is very good. The set up is simple. Highly recommended.

I got this for my Father for when he comes over. He used to come over to stay with us which was great until we had to watch TV. We thought we were at a rock concert. He has a similar head set at home but I wasn't impressed. Worked ok but never really got the sound of the head set to work for when you turned it up the sound was distorted so was looking for a better quality head set and found it.
This one is hooked up directly to our Plasma TV. It comes with several cords to work with depending on your desired need. I don't need it for this but is nice because you can connect your phone line to it for in coming call notification. Come with an extra battery and has ability to allow for a 3rd battery (1 in head set and 2 slots on base for charging). This head set also can be used for any outdoor events that broadcast on a hearing impaired system and works great for my father. If the head set isn't being worn it turns itself off automatically so not to wear out the battery. The unit is supposed to be line of site to the base but I have it tucked back a under our 42" plasma and still works fine and is clear sound that my father likes. A must have for the person that wants to hear everything but not disturb the neighbors try to listen to things. Can even have the sound turned all the way down on sound system and allows the listener to control head set volume with no problem.

The clarity headphones work well and have good sound quality. My husband is having to get the feel for them hanging on his kneck, other than that he is very satisfied.

Bought a TV Ears and discovered that it wouldn't work with my LCD TV. So found the Clarity after considerable search. The descriptions sounded so good I got one for myself, and one for my father-in-law. We both have the hearing loss problem best characterized by being unable to understand the words even when the volume is up. The tone controls on this unit help a little, but it's still a problem with clarity. If you're looking for the clarity of a digital phone, my "Clarity" doesn't provide it. If you want a unit that lets you turn up the sound in your ears without blasting the family with volume increase at the TV set, this is a winner. And yes, this one works with LCD big screens!
