Great to have October 3, 2008 Living in a smaller community we tend to have frequent power surges and outages. I use this to protect all my A/V equipment. I've had it for over a year now and it does what it is supposed to do.

As others have noted, the colour is black rather than silver. The model # is AP20800fc10-BLK. I'm very pleased with the Belkin console. It looks great, and was a breeze to set-up.
Key features include (text below from Belkin's product page): - Phase 3 PureFilter(tm) Circuitry with Video, Audio and HiCurrent(tm) Filters - HiCurrent(tm) Outlet for high-power amplifiers - 3245 Joules of Surge Protection - 165,000 Amp Maximum Spike Current - $350,000 Connected Equipment Warranty

Great cable management July 22, 2008 This unit was purchased from Amazon at a great price. It hides all my powercords so that only one cord leaves my system to the wall. I believe this was a good answer to cable management and protection at a reasonable price.
Works great July 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Belkin PureAV PF30 Home Theater Power Console looks great (it is black, not silver as some pictures portray), with green & blue lights that are not annoyingly bright. It has plenty of input/outputs for all of your devices. I currently have the following ran through it.
-Panasonic 42" Plasma -Verizon FIOS HD-DVR -PS3 -Samsung 6 disc DVD w/ 5.1 surround sound -Verizon FIOS Wi-Fi router -Coax Cable for the router + DVR (single line into the Belkin, single line out, then split for the 2 Verizon devices) -Ethernet Cable (connected to PS3)
...all that and plenty of plugs to spare on the Belkin PF30.
I don't have the time (or probably the eye to notice) any possible display improvements thanks to the "clean" power, but if it helps protect my HDTV and make the picture better I am all for it.
This seems to be a good alternative to the big name Home Theater Power Consoles out there...
Does what it's supposed to. May 30, 2008 I recently bought this to protect some new electronics that I recently purchased. I have a Sony PlayStation 3, Stereo receiver, phonograph, and satellite receiver hooked to it. We recently had a thunderstorm blow thru, lights flickered in the house and then I noticed I had to reset the power console. This makes me believe it is doing exactly what it's supposed to do, which is eliminate any power spikes from damaging your electronics.
