This is exactly what I was looking for! Since I live in a college dorm, these little speakers provide more than enough sound to enjoy music and movies with friends. I would highly recommend them for anyone who enjoys listening to music on a daily basis!

I don't recommend it if you have to watch TV online. You can't hear the sound clearly.
 Small and Easy-to-Use Speakers November 15, 2008
I bought these speakers for my Dell Inspiron 1525 since the loudest sound level is abysmal and changing volumes is a hassle. These speakers were exactly what I needed - small, inexpensive speakers that increased the volume. They're fairly portable and fit nicely on my desk. They're also extremely easy to use. You just plug them in to an outlet and connect them to your PC through the headphone jack. The knob on the side for adjusting volume is great too.

OK, these aren't Bose or studio quality, but they're in the $10/pair range and they are super inexpensive and GREAT for listening to music while at the computer!

These speakers have good sound for the small price and general purpose of our home computer. We listen to video clips and music while working at the computer and have no problems.
