 Makes a meager performing phone a superstar! November 17, 2008
I was displeased with nearly every aspect of the VX8600 shortly after the initial purchase. I had poor reception- even within eyesight of cell towers, low signal strength, and extremely short battery life. I had to condition myself to limit calls to just a couple minutes, otherwise I would lose the call and have to plug in to resume. Of course this assumes I could even make/receive a call in the first place.
So instead of buying a new $100+ phone I decided to try a new battery first since the price was right and physically the phone was still perfect. I must say, this was the best $8 I ever spent. The reception is loud, clean, and clear. Signal strength is maxxed everywhere I go and I no longer have dead spots in my home or office. Best of all- battery life seems limitless. I charge the battery out of principle now rather than necessity.
Do yourself a favor; buy this battery. The only regret I have is not buying it sooner.

the delivery took a little bit, but what I asked for was what I got...the battery works just fine, it beats spending 40 dollars at a store!

i was getting about 3 hours of standby time on my old battery before my phone would die. with this new battery, i can charge it fully and go 3 days of standby/use and not need a recharge. i've had the battery for about a month now. seems to work very well...

When your battery on your phone is terrible after a year or so just get this one. It works great, just like the original one.
