Great Little Light for Reading November 17, 2008 This is a good light that works and I recommend it. Rather than wasting energy on a side light or turning on the light for an entire room, this little book light does the job. I would also recommend getting re-chargable batteries so that you do not have to continually buy batteries.
The only slight issue is that sometimes you need to adjust the light to illuminate some areas of the book (primarily the corners or the very bottom of the page). But otherwise a great book light.
Let's shed some light on the subject! November 11, 2008 This book light is fantastic. We use it for bedtime reading and can keep the light exactly where we need it without bothering anyone else in the room. Super lightweight, bright, easy on the eyes. Great overall!
Excellent value and a very usable LED light October 31, 2008 A couple of power outages in the last few months reminded me that we needed to replenish our emergency lighting resources.
For the money, I thought I would try this unit and I am glad I did.
It is surprisingly well made. The single LED housing has a pretty good reflector thst spreads light reasonably evenly over a moderately broad area and there is an on/off swith on the LED housing, rather than the battery pack.
The battery pack is solidly constructed. I have no idea of how long three AAA batteries will poer this unit, but I suspect it will be for a significant number if hours. The spting-loaded clip on the battery pack seems sturdy and opens to well over an inch for use on shelves and the like. With care, this could be used on a laptop computer.
Light output is very good. No hot spots and pretty broad coverage.
The flexible next is about ten inches long, good for all-purpoe use and stays in the position you set it in.
For the money, it would be hard to beat this unit. I'm going to acquire several to store around the house for use in the next power failure, one for the car and one for the travel kit. Nice product.

Fantastic Book Light October 28, 2008 This is a fantastic book light. It has a flexible neck which can move anywhere and a light that is bright and clear. It is small enough to travel with at anytime.
Perfect for the Kindle October 27, 2008 I bought this light to use with my Kindle. It works perfectly. I went with this one instead of the Mighty Bright because it was $6 cheaper at the time. The clip fits nicely on the Kindle cover. The light is the perfect brightness for me to read my Kindle in a dark room. The neck is very flexible and allows me to position the light to shine over the Kindle rather than on it. Even though it takes three batteries, it's not too heavy. It is not cheaply made either. My 2 year old and 1 year old manage to find it and play with it and it's still working!
