 Good Choice for Office or Home November 14, 2008
We recently bought this shredder for our office and it's shared between two people. I looked at lots of different styles and features and finally decided on this one. The day we got it, I tried to cause it to fail - to test it out. It took everything I gave it. It only jammed once because I tried to put way too much paper through at one time and when that happened, I hit the reverse button and it all came out with ease. It has a nice capacity and for those who are trying to make eco-friendly purchases, you don't need to put a bag in this bin. The casters also make it very easy to move between the two offices if needed.
The only negative I can say is that when you do empty it out, you will want to reach under and grab the paper pieces that are still "stuck" in the blades. It's easy to do and doesn't take long. I think with most shredders that cut the paper in to smaller pieces than just strips, it will have a tendency to have pieces left in the blades.
I like this so much, I'm thinking of buying one for my home.

We have had this shredder for quite a few months now, and we absolutely love it. It is much quieter then our previous one, and is a little work horse. I would highly recommend this product to any small business or home office.

Works great, but it's HUGE! The most attractive things about it are its ability to shred reasonably thick stacks of paper without choking. Be careful to lubricate the cutter according to directions or its life will be dramatically shortened.

This is definitely a quality product. I am amazed by how many sheets it can shred in one pass. It easily shreds 15 pages per pass for 15 minutes straight. This unit is great for any home office, and almost any small business as well. Easily shreds unopened junk mail, CDs, credit cards, and anything else I have thrown at it so far.

We have had a inadequate shredder for several years and it finally bit the dust. In reviewing what was availabe on line to present to our church trustees, the Fellowes was one of three we looked at.
So far, we are very pleased with the product. It does everything claimed and is very quiet for the small office we have. We are sure that due to volume of use this shredder will last a long time.
