Lenovo Thievery April 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's a bit like the "free printer" where you get to buy ink/toner for absorbidant prices. Buy a Lenovo for a reasonable price but any accessory, well get ready to give up a limb. This battery is a fine product but way over priced.
Genuine Thinkpad Battery April 8, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is Genuine Thinkpad Battery made by Lenovo, that price was best as I can find. The item is truly brand new because battery management tool says it was built on Feburary 1st 2008. No long stay in warehouse. 3rd party battery might cause serious problem,I'd like to strongly recommend you taking genuine one.
High quality and long lasting! February 15, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
What can a person say in a review of a battery? Well, not that much :)
What I CAN say is that the battery looks solid and made of high quality plastic. It fits perfectly in my T60 (not loose in any way). When it was new, I could get 4.3 hours out of it (T60 T2300, next highest screen light setting). Now, about one year later, I get about 3.8 hours. Not bad!
One tip! If you really don't need a VERY fast laptop (for gaming etc.), go for the laptop with the smallest DUO processor and internal graphics. You will get about twice as much batterylife as the ones with the more powerful machines. BTW, the smallest DUO processors (like I have, and chose), has more than enough power to handle most programs (except the newest games and some graphic programs that demand a lot of calculating power).
Works great, very recently manufactured March 6, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I'm doubly impressed with this battery. First, it consistently provides 2.5 hours of battery life on my T60p with the screen at full brightness. Secondly, the batteries being shipped are very new. Unlike many battery resellers these batteries weren't sitting in a warehouse for 6 months. I ordered and received a battery in mid-January 07 that was manufactured at the end of December 06 according to the IBM battery utility. Now that is a quick supply chain!
