Works Fine May 14, 2008 This product works just fine. I use it in a Zoom H2 digital recorder and it gave me no problems. To transfer files to a computer, I removed the card and used a SanDisk card reader. Again, no problem whatsoever. I am a fan of Kingston computer memory as well as flash memory because I have never had a problem with any of their products, and their prices are very reasonable compared to the competition (when it comes to name-brand stuff). Kingston is always my first choice.
Simple, cheap, excellent! May 14, 2008 Not too much to say about this microSD card. Excellent value, reliable brand. Works as it's supposed to, no problem with the adapter or computer (Mac OS X) recognition. I use it with my BlackBerry Curve - automatic recognition.
priced way below retail May 13, 2008 I recently visit my service provider to buy ram for my cell phone, amazon has retail way underpriced!
Slow! Slow! Slow! May 13, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Thinking that SDHC ment improved performance, I went out and picked up a couple of these cards. My new camera (canon xsi) takes sdhc so I thought I'd pick up the fastest version (class 6) and I'd have the ultimate setup. This is where it get tricky....Class 6 means anything from 6 megabite/sec to 60 megabites/sec, or more! If you have a 12 meg camera and your Kingston card only writes at 6 megs, it will take at least 2 seconds to complete. I say at least, because these Kingston cards are slow...meaning the bottom of the barrel. If you tend to shot bursts of 4 or more sports shots, it will take your camera an eternity to finish writing. DO NOT BUY ANY SD/SDHC CARD UNLESS IT SAYS IT CAN WRITE AT LEAST 20 MEGABITES/SEC! Also, if a company lists speed by 133x, or 60x this also is extremely lame since there really isn't any set standard for what (x) is.......Companies who fail to list the exact read/write speeds are trying to get away with deception....don't fall for it! You may pay a bit more buying from another company (lexar, sandisk, etc) but they're at least honest, and will tell you exactly what speeds you can expect.........trust me you'll be much more pleased with your purchase. ks
HC May 12, 2008 I didn't know the difference between SDHC and regular SD cards before I bought this card. You need to have SDHC card reader to upload your files to the computer..
