 Wouldn't fit in monitor August 29, 2008
This product seemed like a great solution to hook up my XBox 360 through HDMI to my monitor which has DVI. Little did I know, there must be mutltiple DVI standards, because this one didn't fit in my monitor at all. The side that has the long wide pin was too wide and wouldn't fit in my monitor. I got frustrated and pulled out that pin with needle nose pliers and the adapter fit, but the picture (expectantly) was very poor after pulling out the pin. My advice: do some research to see if this will work with your monitor before purchasing.
 Snug fit, but works August 5, 2008
The product works as advertised. The HDMI connector is a little smaller than the HDMI connector on the cable I have, but with a little coaxing, the connection can be made. Using it to make my TV into a second monitor on an as-needed basis. Works great.
