 Perfect Fit September 14, 2008
My orginal cord frayed and had to be jiggled to charge my laptop. This was a perfect replacement.

Got this product yesterday as a replacement AC/DC adapter for my Compaq V2000 notebook computer. The product fits my notebook and so far seems to work well with no problem. It also has a small LED that shows you when it is energized. Considering the price difference with the OEM adapter, it has very good value.
Cons:
1. The product does not match the online picture. For example, the online picture shows a two prone mains plug and a relatively thin 2 wires cable while the unit I got has a more bulky cable and a 3 pron plug (requires ground). I would prefer the model in the picture.
2. The picture does not show the plug on the output side. If you expect a right angle connector (more difficult to break when using the computer on your lap), look somewhere else.
3. The unit I got does not any UL marking which led me to think that it was not certified (safety and radio interference wise) to comply with the US standards. Many reputable retailers would not deal with electrical product that don't have UL certification.
4. According to the small note that came with the product, the vendor does not provide phone based customer service, just email. However, they seem to care in general about customer satisfaction.
Overall, this is a good low-end / high-value product and so far it works well for me.

Good HP 371790-001 AC Adapter Equivalent. Bought this adapter about 2 months ago. It get constant use and has worked well with no problems. There were no issues with compatability on my HP Laptop.

This works just like the original OEM that my dog ate and was much less expensive.

Worked right out of the box. Just like the original and a great price. I have used it constantly for 30 days and it works great. I would buy this one again if the need arises in the future.
