This product works great - heats up fast. Overall, I like it. I was looking for the crimp iron in lots of stores, and finally I decided to go online, and I found a good one at a perfect price :) Thanx
 Not Hot Enough January 7, 2008
Product works okay, it just doesnt get hot enough to perform each function well. It would be fine for a child, or someone to "practice" doing hair.

I bought this to crimp my 6 year olds hair it works ok but it takes forever about half hour to get hot enough to actually work...... I guess you et what you pay for 16.99 @ Walgreens Drug Store..

I had the old model in the 1990's this one is just as great. You save a lot of money and room not buying the different products seperately.

I bought this product primarily for straightening my hair (my hair is naturally just slightly wavy). I found that it did this very poorly. In fact, I purchased a new straightener within a week of this one. However, my friend bought the same item and used it for curling, waving, and some crimping. It does a good job of this, especially given the price. Overall, definitely a good product for the price, however, if your main use is going to be straightening I would recommend searching for a new product (I have found that a ceramic straightener by Ceramix has been a terrific investment).
