Great working radar detector at a great price! June 16, 2008

This is the 2nd Bel 940 that I have owned in the past 5 years and this is a great radar detector. The last one was sold with the vehicle that I sold, and it still worked perfectly! I've also used Cobra's and I will attest that the Bel is much more sensitive to police radar than the Cobra, but it also filers out false signals much better than the Cobra. I definitely recommend this brand/ model!

So far so good! It is very easy to operate and the bracket works super. I am hard of hearing and was surprised to find the volume was great! For the money, it is a very good radar detector.

I am happy with the easy use of this unit,it has alerted me many times since I have been using it.If I needed a second unit I would buy the same product,

I wanted basic economical radar detector but this one exceeded my expectations by a wide margin. It warned me well in advance of every cop I saw that caused it to go off. Laser went of once but never saw that guy. luckily I wasn't speeding.
Radar Detector December 12, 2007
I have had my radar detector for about a month. I actually bought two b/c there are two cars at my residence. However, I use mine everyday because I have a long commute to work and it has worked great. I would definitely recommend it.
