It Cooked My Camera... June 16, 2007 Whatever you do...... Do NOT use this Ambico Adapter with a 3.3v SAMSUNG S630, S730, or S850 Digital Camera.
I did--under the direct supervision of a knowledgeable CS Rep. from Samsung's Part's & Accessories Dept.--who Okayed all of the Ambico Adapter's specifications for the S630, & instructed me how to line up the polarity of the tip. Hand in hand with Samsung's CS, I set the Adapter to 3.3v
And when I tried it -- it FRIED my camera...................... : \
Samsung doesn't understand why this happened, & neither do I. Odd sounds & the hot *acrid smell* of baked electronics came from the internal workings of my camera, out the ports & battery compartment. The camera did not want to turn back on for a while, & it did so very reluctantly. The mechanics inside sounded strained & slow. Samsung's Rep. told me to take it back to the store for an exchange, because it was very likely permanently damaged, & would not have a long life.
I Am So MASSIVELY Disappointed.............. I loved that little camera. I returned it, & Samsung altered something about the color & resolution of the Samsung S630 since they produced mine, & I can't find one that takes pics or video that look the exactly way my first S630 did that this adapter burned up.

I wish to God I'd never seen this thing.
*This STINKS!!!*
adaptor review March 24, 2007 Adaptor is great for products that it can fit with it's 4 different ends. However it does not fit Kodak Z710 easy share cameras.
A good adapter, but doesn't fit all cameras. February 11, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this adapter for my Samsung Digimax360 which uses a 3.3V adapter. Unfortunately, none of the adapters fit it, so be aware if you own a Samsung digital camera. Also, included are several adapter pieces which are loose. The adapter doesn't have any handy snap-in place of the extra adapter pieces or any compartment, which means that most likely people will end-up losing the pieces in a very short period of time.

I got this for my Kodak LS-753. Works great and cost me half of the asking price of the Kodak version. Very EASY to use. I highly recommend getting one of these.
A cost effective alternative to Fuji's costly AC adapter March 11, 2005 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this adapter instead of the the one Fuji sells for their S5100 camera and it works just fine...and alot less pricey too.The neighborhood Best Buy wanted almost as much as Fuji does.Get this one,set it on 5V and start saving batteries.
