Whatever your five- or three-inch media--whether CD, Super Audio CD, CD-R, CD-RW or DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-Video, or DVD-Audio--this kit's specially formulated repair solution and handy FastWipes provide a quick and easy, one-step fixup for most light to severe scratches. This trial-size kit includes a supply of solution and FastWipes sufficient for five repairs. (If you need more than that, you might want to consider a new approach to disc handling!) Deep scratches and damage to the label side of your disc can be permanent and impossible to repair. Use the following two tests to help determine if your disc is repairable. While looking at the reflective/data side of your disc, hold it up to a bright light. If you can see light coming through the disc in tiny holes or scratches, the disc is irreparable in that area. Repairable scratches to the business side of your disc will have a reflection, or double appearance, while deep scratches that affect the reflective layer of the disc have no reflection.
