Amazon.com Product Description The Acer AL1916WABD TFT LCD computer monitor can help office users maximize their efficiency by providing more desktop real estate for simultaneously viewing multiple application windows than smaller, more traditional screens. Gamers and movie lovers will enjoy the high-quality color and rapid response time and especially its 16:9 wide screen aspect ratio. It features a WSXGA (1440 x 900) native pixel resolution and both a standard, VGA-style D-sub connector for plugging into your computer's graphics card and a DVI-D connector for uncompressed digital images. The AL1916WABD's fast response time promises flicker-free gaming and video playback. Response time is the interval an LCD screen takes to from its darkest color to its lightest color and back again, measured in milliseconds (ms). This screen's response time is 5 ms, which is at the faster and better end of the spectrum. This screen is likely to display cleaner, sharper images during high-action scenes and with fewer image artifacts than other screens in its class. Also, the AL1916WABD is rated with a respectable 700:1 contrast ratio, which represents the difference in luminosity between its brightest and darkest pixels. The screen's brightness is measured at 300 candelas per square meter (cd/m), which relatively bright compared to other LCD monitors.

Great with Windows Vista October 30, 2008 I bought this because my new media center computer was upgraded to Windows Vista. The monitor is about the only thing with that operating system that works reliably. Too bad that Macs have a built in monitor....
Mi primer LCD June 27, 2008 Cero pixeles muertos, nada de iamgenes fantasmas, estoy enamorado de mi monitor, colores excelentes, para ser mi primer LCD es lo maximo
Wow! This was great service! April 6, 2008 Wow, this was great service in purchasing a monitor. I had never bought an item over the internet before. So naturally, I was nervous, but it was simple and complete. When the need arises, I will certainly use this site again. I love the monitor and will recommend to anyone that's looking for a great monitor.
Thanks Amazon for making me feel so comfortable.
