Excellent Mouse November 10, 2008 I bought this mouse for work because I had severe pain in my wrist from using a regular mouse. After a week or two the pain was gone. It still takes a little getting used to the buttons because I sometimes hit the back button in error. I need to buy one for my home computer because whenever I use that mouse my wrist starts to bother me. I would definitely recommend this mouse
Great Mouse - wish there was better OS X support October 28, 2008 I takes some getting used to, but the mouse has been great for the forearm pain I was battling using an ordinary mouse. As a graphic designer, I spend a great deal of time with the mouse in my hand . . . and add in playing tennis 3-4 days a week and racquetball at least once a week, my arm was killing me. The mouse has been very helpful.
My only complaint is the lack of support for OS X. There are two third-party drivers that make it work in OS X and add most functionality, but it is hard to want to shell out another $20 for software after spending so much for a mouse. And I can't quite get either of those drivers to fully work with Expose. Some horizontal mechanism would be a nice addition as well.
Evoluent mouse October 26, 2008 I thought this mouse would really be very comfortable, but it is not so. Maybe it takes getting used to, but even though I use it with a small wrist pillow, it is not comfortable enough. Also, It allows for personalizing the buttons and the speed with which it moves, and that is good. It has been easier to use since then. But it still has a somewhat "choppy" movement, not a soft one and the mouse jumps around a bit even though I set it for small movement synchronization. I don't think it is all that it is expected to be.
IT'S ok September 15, 2008 The buttons are too close to each other. If you don't mind pressing the wrong botton every once in a while. As far as helping my wrist it's to early to tell.
Must have for RSI's September 15, 2008 The vertical design of this mouse enabled me to keep using my computer after I developed terrible elbow pains any time I use a regular mouse. Designed for wrist RSI's, but it works perfectly for my elbow tendonitis also.
