excellent easy screen August 9, 2008 I've used the screen several times to watch movies at home. The screen is easy to put up, and easy to take down. When stored, it sits discretely in the corner of the room. The picture is much brighter than on the wall and it is clearly an improvement. Sometimes I get a bit irritated when trying to make the image perfectly focused on the screen. On the one hand, since I'm taking the screen down after each movie, it is hard to get the screen truly perpendicular to the projector. On the other, there is some very gentle folding that comes from the very gentle curve on the top support beam. But, while these are irritating as long as I'm trying to make the image perfect, I forget all about it, and don't notice a thing, as soon as the movie starts.
Great Screen for the Money July 9, 2008 This screen is exactly what you would expect for the price. Not heavy duty, but gets the job done and looks good. If you need an affordable, large screen for occasional use, you can't go wrong with this one. NOTE: If you plan to transport it, you'll need a large vehicle. It's pretty long when folded.
great buy June 7, 2008 After understanding how it works,I must admit it's an excellent product for the price, used it many times, very satisfied.
Tri-pod Screen from Da-Lite April 29, 2008 Nice screen and a great size for many venues. The legs are a bit flimsy and you should be careful with your setup and take down. Overall very satisfied. Great value for the prize.
From the AV Club March 14, 2008 This screen reminds me of AV club in HS. It is a classic design that still works. It is a little clunky, and I believe they have a more expensive version that might work more smoothly. It uses stop holes that a pin goes into to adjust the height. They could use a few more holes so you can get it to it's maximum height and keep in widescreen mode. The legs take a little manual pulling to expand.
The screen surface is great. I called the company inquiring about glass beaded screen and they said they were phasing them out. This matte screen works just fine.
