Classif Farley April 29, 2008 Of all the SNL videos, this one is definetely the best. No matter what skit Chris was in, he made it a classic. No matter what the price, I recommend this video!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! March 15, 2008 Thank you so very much!!!! Laughter is the best medicine!!!
Have a great day,
Marie
Laugh till you cry... December 9, 2007 I've got several of the "Best of" SNL DVDs, and they are each hilarious in their own way, but Chris Farley's is the most outstanding by far. The Matt Foley character still brings me to tears from laughing so hard, and the "Zagat Restaurant Guide" skit with Adam Sandler is a riot the way these two play off each other! The notorious "Chippendales" episode with Patrick Swayze shows not only the physical talent that Chris had, regardless of his size, but the way he committed himself 100% to the character in action.
He was a big guy with a big heart and immense talent, here for too short a time, but what a treasured legacy he left behind...
loved it September 6, 2007 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
This DVD was great and included all of my favorite sketches with Chris Farley.
It has almost been a decade since he has been gone and I still miss him.
Sadly Forgotten. July 17, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I don't hear too many people talk about Farley anymore and I think that is rather sad as he was a gifted performer. All of his best shticks are recorded in this DVD but it could easily have been two hours long. One hour does not do justice to the guy in my opinion. Yes, a lot of the great stuff is here such as his Matt Foley character, Bennett Brauer, and the Chippendales skit he had with Swayze. It's enough to heighten your appetite for Farley but not enough to fill you. His death was truly a shame. I think comparisons to Belushi are appropriate, but Farley never had the range or amazing talent of John. Nevertheless, we're worse off without the large fellow.
