If you were one of the handful of folks who missed Celine Dion's mega-run in Las Vegas, fear not: Celine Dion: A New Day is a riveting, sumptuous front-row seat to the whole extravagant experience. As concert DVDs go, this is a show of a lifetime, nearly six hours featuring not only no-expenses-spared production values and every song from Dion's famed show, but priceless extras as well. Dion's substantial voice is in fine form, and sparkles on signature tunes like "A New Day Has Come," "The Power of Love," and of course the theme from Titanic, "My Heart Will Go On" (and Dion-watchers will note that she's thankfully dialed back the breast-beating that used to accompany this song). But as impressive as the performances are--and they include the talented gymnasts, dancers, and backup singers who work as a Cirque du Soleil-style ensemble--the set's most memorable moments are found in the personal footage and extras. Dion comes across as truly humble and approachable, with a wicked sense of humor and real compassion for her hard-working staff and her fans. There are sweet, intimate moments of Dion with her husband and son, as well as telling scenes that show her true resourcefulness (girlfriend does her own makeup!). The many docs include one on the building of her special theater and the building of the show from the ground up.  This is 1 of the best blue ray discs in the market. I have more than 20 blue ray highly recommended discs, but this is the best. August 17, 2008
Picture and sound quality are top note. This BR discs is the best in my Blue Ray disce collection so far, besides Privates of Carribeans, Black hawk down, Stealth. And yet, this concern disc is far superior to these collection (in my opinion). Go and buy it before it is out of stock. Hurry.

Talented Grammy winning singer Celine Dion Wow's them at Caesars Palace in Las Veges. The Singer, The Songs and The Show are all Tops.
"Celine Dion: A New Day" The CBS/TV special aired on 3-25-2003 and was watched by 13.8 million viewers according to Nielsen Media Research,it the second most watched concert special of 2003. "Cher: The Farewell Tour" on 4-8-2003 was the most watched, seen by 16.6 million people.
"Celine Dion: A New Day" played for almost five years March 25 2003 to December 15 2007, played 717 shows (714 reported to Billboard), sold 2,814,577 tickets and earned $385,115,516 according to Billboard Boxscore and Ray Waddell of Billboard Magazine.
Hillary Clinton supporters honored Celine Dion by choosing "You and I" as her campaign song. Great audio recording August 1, 2008
In selecting music blu-ray disc, audio quality is one of the most important criteria. This is one of the disc where the Dolby True HD quality comes out best.

This is one fantastic Blu-ray package and the concert itself is amazing - a fantastic show, not just a concert... and her vocal ability has never been better. Picture quality and audio are top-notch, everything you would expect and more. I haven't got to the extras disc yet, as I keep watching the concert!
Even if you only like a few of her hits, buy this item with no hesitation!

This product is just what I expected. Blue Ray technology really is the best and her Las Vegas show was awesome !
I couldn't believe the clarity. I would hope for amazon to start carrying all of the Music Artist's Blue Ray Material. I would love to purchase them !
