5 out of 5 stars Decent ram for your old faithful.   July 17, 2008
Bought 2 of these recently to replace a 512 stick for an older pc I use for software development. They installed and registered with no problems. I would say the quality of the ram is about as good as you're going to find for budget ram. If you're going from 512mb to 2gb of ram you will absolutely see a difference in overall performance. Definitely worth a purchase.

5 out of 5 stars Does what it is supposed to.   July 7, 2008
I installed this about a month ago. Does what it is supposed to... hold information. I did get one random/odd memory error since installing, but it has not returned.... must have been a glitch.

No problems here... buy it if you need memory.

5 out of 5 stars WORKS AS EXPECTED   May 26, 2008
Bought this to upgrade memory in my Dell Dimension 4550 PC. After a few days of use its working perfectly, thats all that can be asked of a memory module.

5 out of 5 stars review of ram mem stick   May 20, 2008
recieved product in a timely manner, works great, easy to install, helped prolong the usable life of my older computer

5 out of 5 stars Good Ram for older computers   May 1, 2008
Crucial makes some of the best ram in the industry. The Ballistix made by Crucial is also great but only usefull if over clocking if your not over clocking it's a waste of money. This was told to me by a guy from Crucial itself.

The 1GB went in without a hitch and was seen by my computer upon booting up after install. This is my second time having to install Ram in any computer bought new anyways. And both times didn't have many problems at all. After my first time of install ever I learn when taking the ram out look at the bottom of the stick holding in place just as you took it out of your computer, you will see a notch at the bottom just insert the new stick the same way. Or you could just look at the bottom of the Ram slot and make sure you insert the ram lined up with the notch on the new ram. Due to poor eye sight for myself I have found taking the old one out and then inserting the sameway with notch makes it easier for me.
