This is a great resource for the "early adopters". I had NO idea my little Kindle could do so much stuff! Thanks for this amazing little book!

5 out of 5 stars Invaluable asset for your Kindle!   May 14, 2008

This article is well-written, concise, informative, and VERY USEFUL. I gave it 5 stars for content and usefullness of the information. However, be aware that if you are outside the Whispernet service, most of the information will be unavailable to you because there are numerous hyperlinks throughout the article. My only wish is that the author had furnished everything at once without the hyperlinks. Downloading from Amazon.com produces the same result. In spite of this (major) flaw, I still rate it 5 stars and highly encourage anyone to read it (or find a way into the Whispernet service areas to be able to read most of it).

5 out of 5 stars VERY VERY EXTREMELY HELPFUL!!! GOD BLESS YOU!!!   May 14, 2008

I FOUND THE ARTICLES VERY HELPFUL ESPECIALLY ON HOW TO OBTAIN FREE BOOKS AND VIEW PHOTOS ON MY KINDLE.

2 out of 5 stars I expected a full disclosure...   May 13, 2008
Unfortunately, this book is more like a "Neat features about Kindle" user guide without a troubleshooting section than it is a self-help article. One doesn't have to go farther than the "How to use Kindle for Email..." section to find areas that are lacking. The section is laid out in a step-by-step format that shamelessly purports that checking and composing email is "easy-to-use". First of all, the webmail interface he suggests using is bare-bones minimal. Check the inbox and other folders, but hold the organizing and formatting that most people now expect out of an email client. And you want to write and send an email? Watch out for pitfalls and hang-ups in composing, reviewing and sending messages as Kindle's experimental web browser works with a poorly designed nuts-and-bolts Compose Mail form to produce a disappointing experience. All in all this author could have given us more than what any mobile email guide would have done.

4 out of 5 stars Handy guide for Kindle owners   May 13, 2008
Not everyone will need or want this guide (the sample feature is a great tool here to review this guide and see if it's right for you), but despite what some are saying, the guide is not a necessary tool in the using the device, but it does contain hints and tips that aren't covered in the Kindle Guide included with the Kindle. It's a user's guide by a Kindle user, and all of us know that sometimes a product user can provide insight that the manufacturer doesn't.

"How to Use the Kindle for Email & Other Cool Tricks" is definitely worth a look.
