Sickly-sweet cotton candy smell July 11, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The only reason I give it 2 stars instead of 1 is that it might be ok for someone very young. I heard such great things about this and picked up a bottle only to be grossed out by the cotton candy smell. It smells like a carnival, but I must say it is aptly named. I gave the bottle to an 11-year old girl who liked it.
Catch someone's attention with this scent! June 18, 2008 I LOVE this perfume. I usually wear things like Dior "Pure Poison" or Victoria Beckham's scent...something more flowery and not so much "food driven".
But I LOVE Pink Sugar. Like other reviews said, it DOES smell like cotton candy/vanilla cupcakes/marshmellows....but in the BEST way. You won't smell like a teen with cheap "body spray" on, this just smells warm, and subtley sweet.
I'm not sure why, but guys seem to LOVE this perfume. Maybe it's because you smell like you can bake (Which I cannot! :P), but I always get compliments when I am out to dinner or at a bar.
This perfume has great lasting power as well. I do feel the need to do a refresh spritz throughout the day, but thats true for any perfume.
This is a great buy, I would highly reccomend!
A Sugary, Pink Surprise June 7, 2008 I was not expecting to like this perfume. I generally don't like things that smell like food, and the stuff I like tends to be the stuff that everyone else hates (and vice versa). So, given the wild popularity of Pink Sugar, and the fact that it's touted as the ultimate sweet, sugary fragrance, I figured I'd hate it. But then I tried it, and much to my surprise, I loved it. The scent is a very hard one for me to describe- the best adjective I can come up with is pink. It doesn't smell exactly like cotton candy or cake to me (I don't really care for those scents), more sweet, with some depth. I've found that this fragrance lasts a long time on me, and I love smelling it. This was a surprising winner.
A Pretty Scent May 21, 2008 I bought this awhile back when I visited Sephora for the first time. I really liked the smell of it, but was awfully wasteful of it (I basically showered myself in it). One day while browsing on amazon, I came across it up for sale and read some of the reviews. I found out it was a real hit with the guys. Needless to say, I went back to Sephora and bought 2 bottles of it. Shortly after, my boyfriend was telling me how great I smelled. My advice? Buy this product and don't be wasteful with it. Enjoy it for as long as you can and others will enjoy it too!
Sugary Deliciousness in a fragrance! May 4, 2008 Oh, yeah! This is a unique fragrance that is full of sugar candy, caramel, and marshmallows, to name but a few of its notes, and it's SO fun, sweet and very sexy all at once. Could be too strong for some noses, so start off lightly. A whole line of body products is available for layering, too... I may as well be wearing pheremones when I wear this, my husband will just chase me down! Love it, highly recommended for those who like a fragrance that smells good enough to eat!
