This is light, pleasing bath gel with a not-too-strong, not-too-mild scent. Like all philosophy products, it comes packaged in a beautiful, good-sized bottle and always leaves you feeling refreshed. If I had to compare its scent to something from nature, I would say that it reminds me of a cool summer rain--something we can all enjoy! Its equally sweet name--joyful heart--allows this bath gel to serve as the perfect gift for a family member, newlywed couple, or significant other.

If I had been asked to create a scent that brought the feeling "joy" to life, I wouldn't have known how to start. But from the first time I opened this bottle, Philosophy's Joyful Heart Charity 3-in-1 absolutely smells like joy to me. The scent is a very full floral scent, one that felt familiar but that until today, I couldn't place: this morning, I suddenly realized it smelled like honeysuckle.
It makes me happy just to lather up with this ((smile)) and speaking of lather, it's thick and rich and very long-lasting (most shower products need me to add product twice to wash just to keep some foam on the puff, and I'm only a thin 5'3" tall!). The only flaw in this product is that there is no body lotion to add to it so I can smell so deliciously joyful for even longer.
One more thing, my highlighted hair can feel like barn straw after a shampoo, but when I used Joyful Heart today - and no conditioner - my hair was soft and easily combed. Amazing!

I don't normally go for flowery smelling products. But I really liked this one. It's soft and subtle, not the least bit over powering. I also appreciate the fact the product supports the Joyful Heart Foundation. I know some women who were either sexually abused or the result of a rape.
So, I'm pleased to be able to purchase an item that supports a group that can help women like them.

This product has the most femanine scent and all women need to pamper themselves and you should start with this product line!

It has a soft floral scent that is pleasant enough to use everyday. I tried using it as a shampoo, but it didn't cleanse as well as some of the other
philosophy washes I've tried have. I also loved the little poem printed on the outside of the bottle.
