Exactly what I was looking forApril 22, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I spent hours researching online to find a stroller that was lightweight but still offered the benefits of a full-size stroller, namely a snack tray and at least some storage space. We already had a little Kolcraft umbrella stroller for the car but I wanted something less cumbersome than my Graco Vienna to keep in the house for strolls around the neighborhood.
While I can't do a full-scale Trader Joe's run with this stroller the way I could with my old Graco, this one is about half the weight and that's especially noticeable when pushing my toddler uphill. I also love the idea of the carry strap--I haven't used it yet but if we go on a bus anywhere it will make the trip even easier. There are a few downsides (I think every stroller has some), but I am very pleased with my choice and would recommend this stroller highly.
Pros: - really lightweight! - seat fabric is soft and well-padded (much nicer than most strollers), my son loves sitting in it - snack tray! (I don't know why so few lightweight strollers have this) - detachable stroller pack is really convenient - carry strap - storage space is decent for a lightweight stroller - stylish look, not cutesy like other strollers - easy to put together
Cons: - it's not really a one-handed fold (but it is an easy two-handed fold and the extra tri-fold is nice) - no parent cupholder (though the stroller pack can easily hold a bottle of water or a closeable plastic coffee tumbler) - steering one-handed is sometimes difficult
