we just bought this stroller to go on vacation. my daughter is 2 and is average height/weight and she is too tall for the stroller. the canopy hits her in the head. it will work for vacation but im sure we wont use it after that. oh...we got it at walmart for 20 bucks so i wouldnt pay $50 on amazon even though i love this site!

4 out of 5 stars Cosco stroller   December 28, 2007

Great value and easy to use. Not as bulky as comparable folding strollers. Perfect for this 'Nana'.

3 out of 5 stars Good for occassional use   December 6, 2007

The stroller was nice and loved the basket under the seat. However, the wheels were a big disappointment. They are hollow plastic and look like something you would put on a doll stroller. For the price, this stroller will do me fine for my occassional strolls when my granddaughter visits. But I wouldn't purchase it for a full time stroller.

5 out of 5 stars A step up from an umbrella stroller   November 21, 2007

I wouldn't compare this stroller to an expensive stroller, but if you are thinking more of the quality of an umbrella stroller, this is a step up from that and much nicer in my opinion.

We bought a cheap umbrella stroller, but it wouldn't fit in the trunk of my Beetle, so I bought the Cosco Deluxe Comfort Ride. It is extremely lightweight and compact. I love the way it easily folds on itself and fits in my Beetle's trunk with plenty of room for more stuff (see my uploaded image). It has a bin to hold the baby bag and a mesh holder on the back to hold a drink plus a few small items; it also has a canopy. Our umbrella stroller didn't have any of these features, but it wasn't all that much cheaper than what I paid for the Cosco. The handle height of the Cosco is also more comfortable than that of the umbrella stroller.

Our daughter is 16 months old, about 22 pounds, and she fits in this stroller with no problems. We've had this stroller for about 6 months, and it's holding up well so far. The seat is firmer than the umbrella stroller, and she acts like she's more comfortable. I haven't had any problems steering it, but maybe it's because my daughter is only 22 pounds. I also mostly use it indoors, like at the mall, the doctor's office, the veterinarian, etc.

No it's not a Cadillac of a stroller, but if you're looking for a light-duty model with some of the nicer features like a bin and a cup holder, this is a good choice. I've been extremely pleased with this stroller and would recommend it for light duty use.

1 out of 5 stars Spend an extra $10-20 for something decent and safe!   November 11, 2007

After my jeep umbrella stroller was stolen, I purchased this. What a difference in quality! First of all, it is too small for my daughter who is 21 months. You can see her head pushing through the sun shade since it is so low...did I mention she was only 21 months!

Secondly, the steering is horrible; it is hard to turn and even push at times! It is also unsafe. I was pushing her on a paved street and the wheel bumped a stone sending the stroller flipping forward (luckily I was holding on with both hands). Which brings me to another issue...the three-point restraint is too low, and I feel that my daughter could have easily flipped forward and hit her head on the road.

Finally, the wheels are solid plastic rather than rubber. There is not the slightest bit of shock absorption and the stroller is very noisy. I wish I had just bought another jeep umbrella stroller because I was very happy with it. So much for trying something new.
