Good function but, lots of pills March 25, 2008 These pads are great for protecting surfaces but, pill so badly (even when air-dried only) that they become very unattractive after one washing. Still, very functional for newborns.
disapointing November 22, 2007 I was very disapointed. I washed before using it and that was it. Could not use anymore. I used baby detergent and tunble dry in a low setting. Don't buy it. it's a waste of money
good product September 2, 2007 I use this on my pack and play changing table. They hold up well after washing and are great for travel
Nice to have. August 12, 2007 These were exactly what I expected and seem to be good quality. They have been very useful with her new baby around.
Many uses but don't wash well August 6, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Versatile pad because of their larger size - I mostly use them as changing pads but they also work in the bath and as extra padding between the skimpy mattress and the sheet in the bassinet, but they don't stand up well in the wash. They pill and snag so badly you can't use them again until you cut all the strings and lumps off - some of the loops are big enough for baby to get hands and feet caught - and it's too much for a pill remover to deal with. I'm hoping they'll get to a point where there just isn't anything left to snag, but I imagine that will leave too thin to use for much else than changing pad covers.
Update 11/30/2007 - these have now completely worn out after 3-4 months of use and washing a couple of times a week. The vinyl waterproof layer inside has broken down and any spills soak straight through. However they did prove pretty durable despite the pilling problem (I constantly get my nails caught in them when picking baby up) so I will buy more if I can find them.
