The InfiniteSlide harness lets you easily adjust the harness. | Infinite Slide Harness Adjustment The Harbortown meets or exceeds all U.S. safety standards, making it a smart, reliable choice. One of its key safety features is the InfiniteSlide harness system which allows you to change the harness height by simply sliding the red tabs up and down. This system also does not require re-threading, saving you time and decreasing the chance of improper positioning. Additionally, the 5-point harness easily tightens with a quick turn on the TensionRight knobs on each side of the seat. Proper Positioning for a Safe, Comfortable Ride Proper positioning of your child in the car seat is extremely important, not only for his or her comfort, but also to ensure optimum safety and protection. That's why the Harbortown has a multi-position recline and removable body pillows to surround baby in soft support. Two buckle straps accommodate growing children by being easy to adjust, and the EPP foam liner helps absorb energy to maintain proper positioning in the case of sudden or jarring movement. There's even a removable, flip-down cup holder to hold your child's favorite drink in a convenient location that they can easily access. This holder also folds out of the way when not in use. The Harbortown also offers perks for parents, including a machine washable pad that's a snap to remove and clean. Easy to install and adjust, the Harbortown features a parent-friendly design that's durable, reliable and, most importantly, safe. evenflo carseat July 18, 2008 We already had a similar car seat that we have really liked that our our 2 year old is using, and we needed a new car seat for our 7 mth old, so we tried to find another....this car seat was less expensive, but just about the same quality. The baby old seems very comfy and happy to be there. Good price, good seat.
Great alternative to carrier seat July 11, 2008 My son was out growing his carrier carseat. He had no problem with this bigger seat. It has more room for him to move around, and does not look he is cramped. We used this seat for the first time on a 8-hour drive trip. He seemed to like being able to see outside the car and his older sister liked to talk and sing to him at eye-level. Because of this, I think this seat is great for parents of an infant and an older child so they can interact with each other more. Since he is a bigger baby and the seat can be used forward facing also, the increased weight limit will come in useful in a few years, no buying a new seat every year or so.
evenflo truimph advance LX convertible carseat July 8, 2008 I chose this carseat after extensive review of parental & professional reviews for my 10 month old son who is now too big for his infant carseat. I love this carseat very much, but unfortunately am returning it only because my son's a bit on the larger side, and the buckle digs into his thighs. The rest of the carseat is amazing, extremely easy to use, well built, and looks otherwise very comfortable. If it weren't for the buckle, I'd give it 5 stars. Overall a great carseat, but try the buckle first.
Very nice! July 2, 2008 This seat is great. It's a little bulky but not horrible. It's very comfy ( My son falls alsleep in it all the time) and the padding is nice and thick. The fabric is also a plus as well. My child has sensitive skin and his other car seat use to rub his elbows and head raw. Very easy to put in the car. I have two car seats in my car and I still have plenty of room for a third person.
Best car seat ever! June 26, 2008 I've had this seat (well, an earlier model) for almost a year now. Started with it rear facing and now its forward facing. I like that it will last us until we need a booster. It was easy to install and really stays in place. I love not having to re-thread the straps and the tension adjustment on the sides makes it easy to adjust for coats, etc.,. I also love that my daughter sits up a little higher and can really see out the window. She seems really comfortable and doesn't fuss. We are having another baby and will be buying a second one of these when she outgrows her carrier.
