 Love it July 16, 2008
After some patience on finding the heartbeat, this became a godsend for me. Since having previous complications the doppler set my mind at ease when things didnt feel right. I evan have my friends borrowing it to help my friends relax as well. Great Product............
 One of the worst baby products I've purchased July 15, 2008
I found this product to be a *huge* waste of money. I used the Hi Bebe doppler for less than two weeks. For the first week, it was crisp and clear. By the second week, the static had gotten so loud that I couldn't even hear my *own* heartbeat in the abdomen, which was deafening loud the week before. What a waste of money! I bought this so that I wouldn't have to rent a doppler this time around, but guess what...I just scrapped this piece of junk and rented a good doppler. You get what you pay for with this...if you enjoy hearing a bunch of loud static, you'll enjoy this product.
 Found the heartbeat at 9 weeks! July 10, 2008
I bought this doppler after renting one with my last two pregnancies. It cost me less than what I would typically pay in rental fees for the few months I would use it. Now I am not concerned about accidentally damaging somebody else's property. I am 9 weeks today and found the heartbeat relatively easily and it was 181. Highly recommended!

I must admit it took me a couple of days to get a hang of it but that was purely my own problem and had nothing to do with the machine. The sound is as clear as the doppler my doctor uses and I could find my own heartbeat in an instant but my baby's was a bit harder to find. That being said, now that I know where to find my baby's heartbeat (the baby is always hanging out in the lower left region of my tummy) it is super easy and brings me great joy every time. I would highly recommend this product!

As a labor & delivery nurse, I wanted to find a relatively inexpensive doppler for personal use during my pregnancy. When the doppler came, I was skeptical of the plastic casing and the lightweight amplifier - it felt cheap compared to the hospital-grade dopplers I use with patients. However, when I turned the doppler on, the sound was reliable and I found my 13.2 week baby's heartbeat right away. Good amplification, excellent digital display which correlates accurately to the heartbeat. This will definitely be a great tool for my reassurance during pregnancy!
I noted on other reviews that several people seemed to have difficulty using the doppler correctly. As with any doppler, there is a 3-5 second delay in the heartbeat recognition and sound amplification. Therefore, it is important to stop listen for 5 sec., move slowly to the next several inches of abdomen, stop, listen, etc. Baby's heartbeat should be evident with slow-moving searches.
Highly recommend this product to any pregnant mama!
