Editorial Review "Ready for take-off
here we go!" Diminutive pilots in training can let their imagination take flight with this stocky, swooshy, wiggly-wobbly airplane. Measuring 12 inches nose to tail, and 8 inches from wingtip to wingtip, this sturdy plastic plane features a pilot, two passengers, a piece of luggage, a door that opens, six windows, including the pilot's windshield, a handle over the cut-out top, working wheels (which make the pilot and passengers go up and down as if encountering turbulence), and the obligatory face on the front of the craft. Push down on the pilot in her seat (yes, her seat
we are in the 21st century, you know!) for flashing lights, a tune, flight attendant commentary, and swooshing airplane sounds. Judging from the outfits of the passengers and the palm tree design on the wings, this aircraft seems to be headed for a tropical port--airport, that is. What's not to love? Check out the entire line of Lil' Movers vehicles. Three AA batteries required (not included). (Ages 18 months to 3 years) --Emilie Coulter

Fun for babies July 3, 2008 I got this for my son right before his 2nd birthday because he LOVES planes. I wish I had gotten this for him earlier. I feel like he would've enjoyed it more a year earlier. It's a great, durable product that we've come to expect from Little People. Fun music, songs. (Love the female pilot!).
airplane May 23, 2008 my daughter plays with this as much as the bus, not alot. she likes to listen to the music mostly. i think its my daughters personality, cause i know of other children, who love fisher price toys like this. maybe once my daughter gets a little older and her imagination kicks in more! SHE'S ONLY TWO NOW!
Who doesn't love Little People? March 13, 2008 As a child that grew on on Little People, I love this toy. Of course, it's different than the Little People that I grew up on. I loved the style to my Little People but these chunkier People are more safe as I remember putting my smaller People in my mouth as a child. With that said, my 3 year old son LOVES his Little People and all products associated with them. This airplane is no exception.
Great toy but overpriced December 1, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My 2yr old recieved this item for her birthday and absolutely loves it. The aircraft makes several cute noises including the "bong bong" noise when flight attendents are being notified it's time to start moving.
The figures include a pilot, a passenger and an arrivals team member ready to greet the inbound passengers. This is great toy and especially good if your little one flies a lot or has an attraction to airplanes.
I would suggest buyers search for a good price online because some retailers (uh-um) tend to mark this item up 2-3 times higher than other merchants. Try the manufacturers website for a good deal.
Good toy November 16, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this for my 21 month old son who loves airplanes. He enjoys the sounds & song it plays when pushing the pilot down, and likes the up and down motion when rolling the plane on the ground, and opening and closing the door. Altho he generally plays really well by himself, this toy doesn't hold his interest too long. When i play with him, he will use it more, but he is really into moving parts, and this only has a door that opens and the people who move. So, if your child isn't so into moving and manipulating parts of a toy, this would be great. He does enjoy it here and there, but he totally prefers Mr. Potato Head becuase it is much more interactive.
