Not as big as it seems July 17, 2008 I bought this pool because it seemed larger than some of the other inflatable pools (given its listed dimensions). However, while it may be 74" long, half of that distance is filled up by the slide, leaving only about 2-3 feet of play room in the pool. It also may be 74" wide at its widest point, but again, this is only for the last 2-3 feet of space after they go down the slide. It's not a round pool. The only redeeming quality is the slide, which has a decent step to climb up and is more secure than slides like the "Safari Falls Pool" which we had before this one.
Dreadful July 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Lucky for me to have a compressor to blow up this slide and pool. If I had had to manually inflate this sucker, only to have three of the six or seven individual chambers immediately deflate, I might have popped. As it is, what more should I expect from such a low-priced (cheap) item? You get what you pay for.
Good for two or three toddlers! July 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this for my toddlers (18 months and 3 years), and they love it. Size: It's perfect for two or three kids, I would say up to four years of age the most. I had to inflate it myself, and it wasn't too bad. Really the part that took the longest was the center part of the slide. Quality: I have two generally gentle girls, so it doesn't take big beatings. However they love to seat on the side and bounce, and so far after about a month of almost everyday use it's still good as new. I bought it thinking that for $20 it'd probably not last the summer, but now I think it will. I think that if we don't use it next year it'll be because it might be too small for them then. I haven't used the attchment for the hose, so I can't comment on how well it works. I wet the slide and the kids go right down, no problem. The slide attaches to the bottom part with two ropes. It came with two little pieces that were barely long enough to do the job, so I got a couple shoe laces and it takes half the time to set it up now. To sum up, a good buy.
good product July 9, 2008 The pool is what I expected. It is large enough for our 26 month boy to move around in. I don't know about the slide as he has not tried it yet, but it appears to be reasonably sturdy for a blow-up slide. The fountain feature is fun and keeps him occupied. It was worth the price we paid for it.
Nice but smaller than they lead you to believe July 6, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Nice pool for the price but like others have said it is definitely smaller than the photo on the box. I have uploaded some photos that give a better indication of the size. Just be aware of the size issue! My 1.5 year old likes it reasonably well. I think it would be good for smaller children (maybe up to 6?) with parental supervision but not for older children even though it says "3 and up".
Hooking the hose up for the spray doesn't work very well due to leaking, I suspect that is because we have no washer in there. I'm not sure if it came with one or not because it may have been accidentally thrown away with other material that was accidentally thrown away... but I think it definitely needs a washer. Also, it could be more durable (heavier plastic) but for the price I can't complain too much. It does come with one repair patch. If it lasts one summer then I think I got my money's worth.
