Works perfectlly at speeds over 70 mph. Works with all cell phones except TREO's. A bit expensive to use it as an intercom with your passanger. Battery duration...excellent. I RECOMMEND IT

First off, this seller on Amazon was pretty lame, took over 2 weeks before this arrived, and there was no protective packaging whatsoever.
The interphone itself is great. The speaker has plenty of volume (just make sure you try out the high volume mode!). Just don't try to pipe in music, it's just annoying. The microphone works extremely well, no wind noise or traffic noise are sent to the other end of the line.
If you have a full face helmet, look for the BlueAnt flat mic option, as this mic takes up a bit more space then expected in a full face helmet.
I can say for certain that this pairs very well with the Apple iPhone, the Garmin Zumo, and the combination of the three are awesome.
It is a great first step into the full audio integration on your motorcycle.

My wife and I both ride and could never afford the expensive communication devices such as the chatter box. So, I happened to read a review about these things and ran into a nice one that talked about the blue ant. Everything they said in the review was correct, these things really work well. For one, my wife was in the house and thought I'd test this Bluetooth feature, and I walked up the street to see how far I could get before it crashed and lost the signal due to loss of line-of-sight. I didn't expect to get past my driveway (in my pajamas) and before you know it I was out in front of my neighbors house and started to loose it. I knew right then what I had was a winner, it was working and working great! Next day we tested the bluetooth out on the road and we could get about 500 meters in distance just using the blue tooth, not the cell phone. If you need to communicate with more than just the two, just use the cell phones. You can use this with snow gloves on your hands, one handed operation usage. Another nice feature is the fact you don't have to talk like a walkie-talkie, it's bi-directional, and both can talk at once like a telephone, it's very easy to install.

Some may say, hey, who wants to talk to your wife of almost 10 years anyway, that's what rest stops are for, me, I would, since I love her but here's the thing. You don't have to have it on all the time. It has about 700+ hours of standby, and 5 hours of talk-time. If you want to talk and it is on standby just press the button for 3 seconds and it hails the other party, they don't even have to press anything, you are connected. I cannot say enough good things about this little device and it comes highly recommended. The cell phone feature works just as any other Bluetooth device works, which I don't recommend while driving the bike. Someone calls, just press the button and it answers the call. Dial out and talk with someone on the road, they would have a hard time believing you are on a motorcycle talking to them on the phone.

You will not be disappointed in this product.

3 out of 5 stars Middle of the road headset   November 8, 2007

I also have the Cardo ScalaRider Bluetooth Headset. This headset is good if you ride two up or are always riding with a specific buddy. It is limited to two people. You cannot have three people communicating at once. For what it does it is a good headset however, if you are just looking for a Bluetooth headset to use with your cell phone I would recommend the Cardo.

The foam cover on this particular headset is cheap and really doesn't do a good job. At higher speeds I can constantly hear wind noise from the microphone which is very annoying, and by the way I wear a full face helmet and the bike has a shield. Pairing with the other headset can be a hit or miss item. It is slightly tricky and can be annoying after a while.
