 Great storage option August 16, 2008
Bought carrier for summer travel and it works perfect. The locking system makes sure it is locked before you can take the key out. Someone infront of me on the highway had theirs open up on them. We had just left a rest area, so they must of gotten into it and did not lock it correctly. Never had that problem. And it holds alot more than it looks like it can. And with it being only 37lbs, it gave me a little more weight to work with, I have a 150lbs limit on roof rack.

The guides for the internal luggage straps are made of plastic and are weak. A guide broke upon my first use. Otherwise, the product is good and worked well during my first trip.

I have been delighted with this rooftop cargo box on my 2006 Subaru Forester. It holds an amazing amount of stuff, including an unbelievably cumbersome double stroller.
