Quick and Easy July 29, 2007
Very decent quality for the price. Installed easily, looks like the adhesive mounting tape is holding well.
The shade comes with a specific curvature that may not exactly match your car's roof as it happened in my case, you may still flex it and tape it on but I would advise against it, as it may place too much tension on the adhesive tape and end up tearing it.
I used a heat gun to soften the deflector a bit and then conformed it to the roof's curvature, it took about 10 min.
BE CAREFUL, heat guns can damage plastic very easily so if you decide to do it that way, you do it at your own risk!
What I did not like about this product it is its color, it is very dark and almost completely opaque. For all practical purposes it is virtually BLACK, that is a pity. If it were a little lighter and more transparent I would have given it five stars.
