Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars I looked everywhere for this!   February 22, 2008
After one of the factory lift supports went out on my Toyota Sienna, I tried all the local automobile stores. They were helpful, but couldn't get the part. I have the automatic lift gate, and the lift the stores try to sell you is about half and inch too short. When it reaches the top of its reach the motor thinks there is an obstruction and brings the gate back down. This lift installs in about 30 seconds (if you have someone holding the gate up for you). Definately a do-it-yourself install! You just need a screwdriver to pry the locking tab out a little to get the old one off.

This new one is very strong and might push up a little too hard, but I think that is just because it is new. I've had it for about 2 months now, and it seems to be doing very well.
