Burned out on me quick July 4, 2008 Only had it a month. BLew up some pool toys and she just stopped working. Off to the garbage with this one.
Not very sturdy July 2, 2008 We have only used this twice and the second time was for a child's outside pool and after it was blown up there were screws that had come loose I guess due to the vibration and we have no way of getting them back into place. So, after using it twice it is falling apart.
Just what I needed. Very pleased so far June 14, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is the fourth home air compressor I have owned. One of them was a 12 volt type (never again). My last on had a 50 ft. coiled air hose that was stronger then me. With the Bon-Aire, all I need is a friendly 50 ft extension cord to reach all my tires. It seems to have a good valve clamp and it inflates very quickly. As long as it proves to be reliable, I couldn't be more pleased.
Not Good May 21, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've gotten 2 of these. Both were leaking oil. 1 had a bolt that had either came loose or was never put in at all. I won't get another.
The only good thing was Amazon's service, no problem with that.
Works, but lacks cigarette lighter adapter May 14, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I primarily got this to fill the tires in my car. It works and works well. However, I just learned that the Black & Decker Air Station, which actually costs less, includes a cable to connect directly to your car's power outlet. The biggest annoyance with using the Bonaire is stretching an extension cable out your front door all the way to the car to power it just for quick tire top-ups in this age of $4/gallon gas. I really wish it had the B&D feature so I would not need to keep an extension cord handy and have to dirty my hands every time I use it. For the price, Bonaire could and should equal their competitors' features.
Later note: Tried to connect this to my car using a 200W power inverter. I feared this would not be enough watts to handle the motor in the pump and indeed it was not. I'll report back if I find an inverter beefy enough to work with the Bonaire.
