 It's a pack that you carry on your back December 21, 2007
The backpack is sturdy with enough pockets and few frills but it works well. The only problem I have with it is the straps slip and loosen.
Not as much padding as the pictures have you believe December 15, 2007
I've had this backpack for a little over a year now and use it every day to haul my laptop and a couple of very heavy books. It's held up well and still looks pretty good except for the mesh on the padding, which definitely shows wear from rubbing against buttons on jackets, etc. It's a good size (fits a laptop, an 800 page book, and a couple of notebooks with room to spare) and it has a few pockets in the front compartment, which is very convenient. The pen holders on mine tore a couple of months ago though and now my pens just slide through and I have to hunt for them. The padding in the back is also not as good as I was expecting and the "secret pocket", while a very cool and convenient feature, is poorly designed since the flap is very rigid around the edge and can be uncomfortable if the backpack is full and pressing against your back.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend this backpack for the price but next time I'll spend the extra money to get a nicer one. I was somewhat disappointed because I've been very happy with my Samsonite luggage.

My husband bought me this backpack last year for Christmas, and it's the best backpack I've ever had! It's extremely sturdy, and it is so much more comfortable to carry around campus that most laptop bags. The shoulder straps are padded for extra comfort. The bag is big enough to hold my laptop, books, computer cords, notebooks, pens, and anything else I need. And the bright pink color is very cute! I love this backpack! I'd highly recommend it!

I am majoring in Biology at school so I have to carry a lot of heavy books around. This bookbag has let me do that without anything breaking or ripping,which is what I usually have problems with. Plus, you get it for a great price!

Holds up well in rain, very roomy. Padded straps keep shoulders comfortable when bag is heavy. Very happy with product.
