Fun Stuff! June 29, 2008 This instrument is all it can be expected to be---FUN! Of course it isn't a high-dollar machine , and of course it doesn't look or sound conventional---so DON'T EXPECT IT TO BE!! Plays really well [after putting on strings of my liking...] and has a suprisingly fine sound when plugged in ; the great electronics make up for the lack of refinement in build quality , of which I am NOT complaining , because this IS a LOW-PRICED piece. In fact , it is made very well for its' price point---we can't expect perfection at this budget! Neck is smooooth , tuners are smooooth , intonates well and it is light as a feather , yet it doesn't feel fragile . The top edge lines and binding are a little wavy is the only clue to the price of this "keeper"........
