Editorial Reviews:

Album Description
For Celtic Thunder, Sharon Browne has teamed up with Grammy-nominated Irish songwriting and composing veteran Phil Coulter to produce a show that includes an eclectic mix of songs ranging from the traditional "Mountains of Mourne" and "Come By the Hills" to international hits such as "Brothers in Arms" and "Desperado," as well as original compositions by Coulter, who has written hits for Elvis Presley ("My Boy") and the Bay City Rollers, and performed with Van Morrison, Tom Jones, and the Rolling Stones. The ensemble numbers in Celtic Thunder reflect the power of the vocalists, who range in age from 14 to 40, and feature songs that celebrate a common Celtic heritage.

Album Description
CD/DVD of the debut concert of Celtic Thunder was filmed on location at the Helix in Dublin, Ireland. The special features five male vocalists (ranging from 14 to 40 - Damian McGinty, Keith Harkin, Ryan Kelly, Paul Byrom, and George Donaldson) performing an eclectic mix of songs, ranging from the traditional "Mountains of Mourne" and "Come By the Hills" to international hits such as "Brothers in Arms" and "Desperado," as well as original compositions by Celtic Thunder's legendary musical director and composer Phil Coulter. Celtic Thunder roars with a 28 songlist of memorable songs including 'Raggle Taggle Gypsy','The Voyage', 'Steal Away', 'Ireland's Call', 'I Wanna Know what Love Is', 'Yesterday's Men' (bonus track) and more.

5 out of 5 stars Great Buy   July 5, 2008
I have played this album on my car radio daily for three weeks and am still not tired of it!

4 out of 5 stars Celtic Thunder   July 4, 2008
Celtic Thunder: The Show

This is a powerful display of music and staging in the show DVD. What I ordered, and received was most of the music from the show. Still excellent, a few of the memorable songs from the DVD were not included.

5 out of 5 stars Incredibly Talented Men   July 3, 2008
I saw them on tv and was immediately hooked. i bought the cd and the dvd!! so i listen lots and watch them perform. i even have my kids hooked on them. not only are their voices wonderful but they are so nice looking. my favorite is when they are in their celtic kilt suits.
Hope you enjoy as well.

5 out of 5 stars Worth waiting for!!!   July 3, 2008
This is an awesome song collection which makes me want to have everything they have ever recorded. It is like an addiction; I have to listen to it each morning and some of the voices are extraordinary. Now I would like to see them in person. The collection of songs are charming, haunting, and makes one nostalgic. je

5 out of 5 stars Possibly the BEST singing group ever!!   July 1, 2008
Celtic Thunder, is without a doubt the best singing group to come along since Celtic Women, but then perhaps i am prejudiced about Irish music
on the whole. Both these groups sing their music so effortlessly and so honestly and with such feeling that it all just makes one feel every note and word. It is my daily fix to make it a good day all around.
