Ranger Rick is a winner! July 4, 2008 I ordered this for my grandchildren. They all enjoy looking at it. My 2 1/2 year old grandsons both like it, too. It is a great magazine for any animal lover. I want to teach them the importance of animals and to work to protect them. If we all start when they are small, they will grow up with that love. "In the end we will conserve only what we love; we will love only what we understand; and we will understand only what we are taught." (Baba Dioum, 1968.)
Ranger Rick July 1, 2008 My grandson(age 6) looks forward to receiving mail addressed to him, and , since he is so interested in animals, this is a special treat.Since Ranger Rick is filled with pictures and stories that geared to his age group. he learns new things in a fun way.
Age 3-6 magazine, definitely May 10, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
My kids are 8 and 11 and they prefer National Geographic kids. This one has lots of pictures and facts that would be interesting to a preschooler and first graders. Otherwise very cute magazine.
Good for Kids May 6, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a great magazine and I highly recommend it. It has enough fun to hold kids' interest, and it has enough good and accurate information to be educational. This is one of those really good things where kids learn without realizing they are learning.

Ranger Rick
I subscribed to Ranger Rick for a five year old who loves to read and has a great imagination. After he reads his Ranger Rick he puts it in a special place on his book shelf to keep it safe.
I highly recommend this item.
