Designed and made in France, Longchamp crystal epitomizes luxurious living. The bowls on these goblets are deeply and lavishly cut at the base into diamond bevels that refract light brilliantly. Long flame-like cuts reach for the rim, and more diamonds add texture to the faceted stem. In short, just picking up a heavy 24-percent leaded crystal Longchamp glass becomes a sensual act. Drinking from one is heavenly. Four goblets are included in this set, each standing 6-1/2 inches tall and holding a capacity of 8-1/4 ounces. The smallish size makes them perfect for water or red wine. Two smaller goblets for white wines and rose and two smaller glasses for port and spirits augment the collection, all featuring the same recognizable Longchamp silhouette. Approximaqtely a third of the retail price because the box had been opened, but in new condition. Exactly what I needed and very fast delivery, but they were 7 1/2 oz size not 5 3/4. Didn't matter as I needed four of either size.

In this order was 1 set of these goblets, 2 sets of the larger goblet, 4 sets of tumblers, and 1 pitcher. They were shipped in 3 boxes at different times. One box looked knocked about and one box had tape coming off of it. I was very concerned as i had just received 2 orders of Gibson china and one set had 2 broken bowls in it. (amazon made it right in a more than acceptable manner)
My anxiety grew as i opened the packing boxes to find only the item boxes inside with no bubble wrap on them. To my utter pleasure all the pieces were intact in all of the boxes.
I will be ordering more of these little lovelies. They are a great size for the little glass of wine. The larger ones are a bit too large for me but can be used for drinking glasses if one wanted or a large glass of red with a meal.
I feel so special when i look at my everyday drinking glasses and wine glasses in my cabinet and see them sparkling a smile a me.
Equals the Very Expensive Ones! January 8, 2008
At Christmas, was attending mother-in-laws home for Holiday. She has some beautiful goblet and I ask about them. The cost was way too much. So I went to Amazon, looking. I found these and ordered two sets (8 goblets).
They are, in my opinion, nice and less likely to break than the expensive ones. If one gets broke, its no big deal.
I am always happy with my Amazon purchases..and get them well packed and very fast.

Pretty, cheap wine glasses designed with clumsy hands in mind. I got tired of delicate crystal that chipped when I looked at it the wrong way. These little gems sparkle and ring when you tap them and though they may not be expensive, they'll last awhile. If you drink a lot of wine with a meal, you might want a larger bowl, though.
