 Heavy base 15 " iced tea glasses July 13, 2008
They are heavy enough not to be knocked off a table, etc. They are a perfect size of a glass of iced tea.
Good Simple Glasses June 4, 2008
Very Nice Simple Glasses.
Obviously not very showy, but still classical.
Good Size & Weight, cheap, and reasonably sturdy.
You might have a little trouble cleaning the bottom of them if you don't have a dishwasher or small hands; but this can easily be overcome.

My first set arrived broken, which was no surprise considering there was no padding on the bottom of the box. Who is teaching packing 101 at the warehouse? Amazon replaced them promptly, but why don't they just get it right the first time?

MY WIFE RUNS A CATERING BUSINESS AND WE BOUGHT 5 SETS OF THESE GLASSES. THIS IS A VERY NICE AND HEAVY DRINKING GLASS THAT WE USE FOR ICE TEA, SODA AND COCTAILS. THIS PRICE IS BETTER THAN ANY OTHER SUPPLIER WE HAVE FOUND FOR THIS QUALITY OF GLASSES.

My wife and I have been looking for some good, simple, sturdy glasses for a while, and we decided on these because of the simple design, clear glass, heavy base, and good size (15 oz). I was a bit nervous about having glasses shipped, but because of their excellent customer service I know that Amazon would replace any broken ones.
The glassed arrived very well packed in a thick cardboard box with good dividers between glasses. All of the glasses arrived fine, without any damage at all. Each glass had a bar code sticker on the bottom, but they all came off in the dishwasher.
The glasses themselves are very sturdy, hold the perfect amount of liquid, and have a simple & elegant design that we really like. The base is weighted, but I would not call them heavy.
Overall I feel these are an excellent value - 12 high quality glasses for a very reasonable price. If you are looking for a set of glasses I recommend that you give these a try.
