Amazon.com Review Ideal for home or office, this electric appliance delivers hot and cold water from two spigots and comes with a removable bottle cover for a sleek, contemporary look. It's economical as well as convenient, earning an EPA Energy Star rating that certifies it's highly efficient and can save up to $47 annually in electricity compared to other water coolers. Accompanying the cooler is a special valve, which fits all 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-gallon water bottles (bottles not included) to ensure drip-free installation when a bottle is inverted onto the cooler. For child safety, the hot-water spigot (colored red) requires a squeeze as well as a push. Cold water is chilled to 38-42 degrees F, and hot water is heated to 180-192 degrees F--ideal for instant coffee, tea, and soup. The cabinet and bottle cover are made of rugged plastic with smart metallic accents and wipe clean with a cloth, and the drip tray is wide enough to hold a glass or cup. With bottle cover in place, the appliance measures 51 inches high, 12 inches wide, and 13 inches deep. It carries a two-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Leaking Cooler May 30, 2006 I bought this cooler from Costco last year. I enjoyed it until it started to leak about a month ago. I tried calling the toll free number only to find out it was a porn number. I would like to get the cooler repaired. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Went Kaput and Addico's toll-free number is disconnected May 19, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was so excited when I got this water cooler. It worked great for about one year and then the moter started gasping and making LOUD clunky noises. It then started to leak water from the bottom and when I called the company they said it was my water jug. Checked the jug and it was not leaking. Now the toll-free number on Addico's web site and product manual has been disconnected and when calling their local Canada number it just rings and rings. Too much money for one year of service.
No problems here. December 7, 2004 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I had reservations about buying this water cooler after reading some of the negative reviews here, but decided to buy it anyway because I was unable to find another black water cooler with a bottle cover (my two requirements). So far, I have had no problems. I have not experienced any problems with the water tasting like plastic like some others have noted. I would like to note that the cooler comes with specific instructions for cleaning prior to use, which I followed carefully to avoid any problems. It took me over 30 minutes to clean after unpacking, but I have had no problems. Overall, a good water cooler. It provides hot water, cold water, and has a nice design. What more do you want from a water cooler?
I have been extremely pleased with mine October 16, 2004 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am only a light user.... maybe 5 gallons every two to three weeks.... and I have found the water Hot ... or cold... depending on what I want and have experienced no after taste....
I have had mine about a year and only use bottled (RO) water which I assume everyone is using and not had any problems...

Well, my Milano water cooler functioned fine for about a year and a half. All of a sudden, we were not getting any cold water. The following week, we couldn't get any hot water. I was doing research online to find out who the manufacturer was so I could get the unit repaired or replaced (I now know it's Addico) and after reading all the negative reviews, I decided just to throw it away and get a new water cooler from a reputable manufacturer!
