 Countertop Kettle Boils Efficiently! June 26, 2008
Excellent electric appliance addition to our kitchen countertop boils 2 quarts of water in about 7 minutes in the attractive easy fill and easy pour kettle.
Water Boils Fast June 26, 2008
I had the Braun electric kettle for a number of years loved it. On kettle, switch finally stoped working. Was going to get same model, but saw the Chef's Choice. I remembered my neighbor had this brand, so thought what the heck i'll try it. Was very impressed with the way it looked out of the box, all stainless steel, easy to set up too, and use. What impressed me the most was how fast the water boiled, even faster than my other kettle. It holds a nice amount of water too, best of all no pots of water to boil on stove, that takes forever.
I highly recomend the Chef's Choice for ease of use, fast reliable boiling time, especialy when you are making a pot of tea. I was lucky to get free shipping too, best of all I got it fast. Amazon is great with shipping and they shipped on holiday too, how cool is that.
I purchased my V-tech phones from them as well.

I like this kettle for its design and function. I just wish that it was a little lighter for lifting.

I haven't been without an electric kettle since we received one as a wedding present, and wasn't about to try, after our last kettle bit the dust very prematurely. There's nothing better for heating water for tea, among other things.
This kettle is hugh, and because of that it's heavy when full (but you don't have to fill it to the gills). Unfortunately, the handle has no balance point, and there's no other good place to get a grasp on it to make it easier to carry. So far, those are the only downsides I've found.

looks good on the counter,heats water quickly and keeps it tea warm for about 45 mins to an hour, very pleased with it. a lot more efficient than my stovetop kettle and good value for the price.
